From real architecture
to worlds free to grow.
Architecture first caught me at ZJU Design Institute
The internship taught me to notice how space, structure and architecture tell stories. Real buildings answer to gravity, materials and budgets; I became more interested in creating beautiful, playful architecture in games, where the rules can be rewritten.
A PCG internship revealed the joy of growing worlds
My second internship introduced me to procedural architecture. Rules could change quickly, ideas could be tested repeatedly, and buildings could appear from an empty scene at the press of a button. It felt efficient and slightly magical.
Team games made me the connector between art and technology
In team projects I handled most technical-art-related work and connected everyone’s ideas into one working game. Communication, integration and shared problem-solving made me love collaboration—and confirmed that I want to help art and technology understand each other and ship together.
